<p>The method involves providing a plastic foil substrate (2), and printing the plastic foil substrate with an aqueous printing ink (3), such that the printing ink forms a desired antenna pattern (21) on the foil substrate. The substrate is vaporized, such that a conductive layer develops on the substrate. The substrate is washed, such that the printing ink is removed from the substrate and the conductive layer lies only on the printed antenna pattern, where the conductive layer is made of aluminum and copper, and the substrate is made of polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate.
