The halogen light bulb (1) consists of a light emitting structure (3) arranged inside a glass bulb (2) which is air-tightly sealed with a pinch seal (10). The pinch seal comprises the inner leads (4,5) connected to the light emitting structure and outer leads (8,9) led out from the glass bulb. The pinch seal has the molybdenum foils (6,7) that are arranged between the outer and inner leads and are processed using a laser e.g. carbon dioxide laser.
