A sealed battery is provided to prevent the leakage of an electrolyte solution and the penetration of moisture completely, thereby improving the stability of a battery. A sealed battery comprises an electrode external terminal which has at least a collar part and a pillar-shaped insertion part; an insulation gasket which has a penetration hole where the pillar-shaped insertion part is inserted; and a sealing plate(3) which has a penetration hole where the pillar-shaped insertion part is inserted, wherein the pillar-shaped insertion part is engaged with the two penetration holes so as to allow the electrode external terminal is fixed to the sealing plate through the insulation gasket, and the cross-section of the pillar-shaped insertion part crossing at the right angle with the battery height direction has an incomplete sphere. |
