An LCD and a driving method thereof are provided to divide a source PCB, reduce the size of a control PCB and the number of output pins, and minimize a drift of driving voltage between the divided source PCBs. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel(30) includes first and second data line groups and an LOG(Line On Glass) line(45) separated from the data line groups. A timing controller(31) outputs a timing control signal and data through a single output port. A power generating circuit generates driving voltage. The timing controller and the power generating circuit are mounted in a control PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(40). A first data circuit group includes first data ICs(Integrated Circuits)(32a) for generating data voltage to be supplied to the first data line group by respectively including first voltage divider circuits for generating gamma compensation voltages by dividing the driving voltage. A first source PCB(41A) is connected to the first data circuit group. Plural resistance devices are respectively connected to the voltage divider circuits, and parallel a resistance connection form of each of the voltage divider circuits. A second data circuit group receives the timing control signal, the data and the driving voltage via the LOG line and includes second data ICs(32b) for generating data voltage to be supplied to the second data line group by using the driving voltage. A second source PCB(41B) is connected to the second data circuit group. A connection unit is for electrically connecting the first source PCB to an output terminal of the power generating circuit and the single output port.
