A method for realizing bearer reestablish, includes the step of during the course of switching of a user from the LTE_IDLE to the LTE_ACTIVE, according to the pre-configured strategy of the bearer reestablish, the core network instructing the access network to establish a corresponding bearer of the access side. The access network establishes a corresponding bearer of the access side according to the instruction from the core network. If the bearer establishment strategy is not pre-configured for the user, during the course of switching of the user from the LTE_IDLE to the LTE_ACTIVE, the core network instructs the access network to establish all non-GBR bearer of the access side; the access network establishes all non-GBR bearer of the access side according to the instruction from the core network. The present invention can well improve the starting speed of the service, decrease the time for establishing the service procedure, and improve the user experience.
