A method and a system for managing an aluminum wheel manufacturing process by managing history of each aluminum wheel are provided to enable a maker to manage a PL(Product Liability) law by providing manufacture information analysis data of each product to manage history of each aluminum wheel, and easily improving quality and tracing the aluminum wheel based on continuous quality management. A POP(Point Of Production) management PC(C4) constructs a database by obtaining reference information for aluminum ingot and processing information of a cast aluminum wheel during a casting process for the aluminum wheel. A marker(C6) marks a 2D(Dimensional) barcode to a predetermined position of the cast aluminum wheel by using laser. A POP monitor(C8) displays manufacturing status information received from the POP management PC. A 2D scanner(C7) reads the 2D barcode at each processing equipment(C9-C11) and transmits information read from the 2D barcode to the POP management PC. A handheld scanner(C12) is used for collecting a work result by a worker. A POP server(C2) links the database constructed by the POP management server with an ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system(C3) and a WMS(Warehouse Management System)(C1). |
