A plasma display panel is provided to improve discharge efficiency of a display device by adding a floating electrode on an address electrode. A plasma display panel includes first and second substrates(311,321), barrier ribs(330), X and Y electrodes(331,332), an electrodes(322), a first dielectric layer(315), and a floating electrode(350). The barrier ribs are arranged to define plural discharge cells between the first and second substrates. The X and Y electrodes are arranged to be elongated in a cross direction between the first and second substrates. Y-X-Y electrodes are repeatedly arranged. The address electrodes are elongated to cross the X and Y electrodes. The first dielectric layer is arranged to cover the X and Y electrodes on a surface of the first substrate facing the second substrate. The floating electrode is electrically floated with respect to the electrode. |
