An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent noises on a screen of the LCD device by compensating for timing margin between data and clock in a timing controller. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes an LCD panel(100), gate and data drivers(210,220), and a timing controller(230). The gate driver supplies a scan signal to gate lines of the LCD panel. The data driver supplies a data signal to data lines of the LCD panel. The timing controller processes timing of the data and gate drivers, and compensates for margins of set-up and hold times on data signals supplied to the data driver by synchronizing with a data clock which is inputted from outside.
