<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subunit position notifying system capable of easily notifying (informing) of the position of a subunit when the subunit is exchanged. <P>SOLUTION: In the subunit position notifying system with two or more subunits of the same kind and a main unit where the subunit is installed exchangeably, the subunit and the main unit are constituted to be connected through a communication means.
