<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assemble tubular linear motor which can be made compact and lightweight. <P>SOLUTION: A tubular fixed rod 14 is set erect on the lid 17 of a bottomed tubular outer yoke 2, a tubular center yoke 3 is arranged coaxially with the outer yoke 2 in the space on the inside of the core 6 of the outer yoke 2, and on the outside of the fixed rod 14, the fixed rod 14 is guided in the axial direction by a first bearing 22 arranged in the center yoke 3; the center yoke 3 is guided in the axial direction by a second bearing 23 arranged in the fixed rod 14; and the first bearing 22 and the second bearing 23 are arranged in a zigzag manner. Overall length can be shortened by efficiently arranging a magnetic circuit component in a limited space and compaction and lightweight can be attained.
