PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor with a simple structure made up of a small number of components, which can eliminate a circuit board and a holder, and is excellent in detection sensitivity. SOLUTION: An IC module M is provided with: a lead frame 1; a magnetoelectric transducing unit 6 composed of one end 1a of the lead frame 1, a magnetoelectric transducer 2 mounted thereon and a first package 5 for encapsulating them; an electronic circuit unit 8 composed of the other end 1b of the lead frame 1, an electronic circuit component 3 mounted thereon and a second package 7 for encapsulating them; and a bias magnet 11 held by a magnet holding section 10 formed on the side surface of the first package 5. The lead frame 1 has a bending section 1ca between the magnetoelectric transducing unit 6 and the electronic circuit unit 8, such that the magnetoelectric transducing unit 6 is positioned on the outside of the bias magnet 11.
