PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a shadow by an end part of a screw part to reduce confusion with a defect image caused by the generation of the shadow, and to precisely inspect the presence of a defect, even in case of the small defect such as a small bubble, foreign matter and small chip generated in the end part of the screw part. SOLUTION: A light from a front auxiliary light source 10 is transmitted through a suction pad 2 under the condition where a transparent container 1 is sucked and held with the suction pad 2, and is emitted toward the end part of the screw part 1a of the transparent container 1.
