The method involves detecting and transmitting conditions of vehicle devices and surrounding information e.g. weather information, as information to a control device (3), by vehicle sensors (1) e.g. temperature sensors. The information is assigned to a category, when the information corresponds to the present. The information is assigned to another category, when the information corresponds to the future. Image data is produced to display the information. The data is utilized to discriminate the information of the categories. The data is reproduced on displays (6-8) of a vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a device for displaying information in a vehicle.
