<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when a test pattern is formed on a conveying belt, as the difference between the color of the conveying belt and the color of ink is small, it is difficult to accurately read it. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid-jet device comprises an adjusting pattern forming/reading controlling means 501 for forming, on the conveying belt 31 with water repellency, an adjusting pattern 400 for detecting the impact position composed of a plurality of independent liquid droplets jetted from a recording head 24, a reading sensor 401 composed of a light emitting element 402 for emitting a light to the adjusting pattern 400 and a light receiving element 403 for receiving a regular reflection light from the adjusting pattern 400, an impact position deviation amount calculating means 503 for calculating the amount of deviation of the impact position of the liquid droplets based on the result of detection by the reading sensor 400, and a jet timing correction amount calculating means 504 for calculating the amount of correction of jet timing of the liquid droplets from the amount of deviation of the impact position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
