INFORMATION COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND FUNCTION LIMITING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication apparatus and a function limiting method capable of limiting the function in conformity with the residual capacity of a cell and conditions of a user.

SOLUTION: A remaining use time calculation part 105 calculates remaining use time based on a cell capacity monitored by a cell capacity monitoring part 103. A chargeable time calculation part 108 and a GPS measurement part 107 specify the position of the information communication apparatus 100 when the cell capacity becomes a predetermined value or less. A chargeable time calculation part 108 calculates chargeable time until charging for the cell is made to be possible based on the position of the specified information communication apparatus. A function limiting processing part 109 compares the remaining use time and the chargeable time, and on the basis of the comparison result can limit the function of the information communication apparatus in accordance with information stored in a function DB114.
