<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wireless communication equipment capable of executing handover suppressing the generation of packet loss while reducing power consumption in the case of utilizing a plurality of wireless communication systems wherein the system of a physical layer or the like is different, and a wireless communication method. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of judging that communication quality exceeds a first threshold, a wireless communication terminal 300 starts connection with the wireless communication system 120 and sets a wireless link L2 with the wireless communication system 120.
