<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control system for efficiently performing power supply to peripheral equipment having the highest use possibility by performing the on/off control of the power supply of the peripheral equipment particularly from a use history of the peripheral equipment, a user's access history to the peripheral equipment or the like with respect to the power supply control system for the peripheral equipment such as a printer connected to a computer network. <P>SOLUTION: A network system including a plurality of computers sharing the peripheral equipment connected via a network circuit comprises the installation of a table in an LAN board built in the peripheral equipment to keep a power supply on-command supplied upon an input of the power supply of a computer stored in the table, to delete the power supply on command stored in the table by a power supply off command upon the power supply of the computer to be turned off and controlling so as to turn the power supply of the peripheral equipment off when all power supply on commands are deleted from the table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
