<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data broadcast content update server capable of obtaining latest proper communication contents, even when recording and reproducing one-segment terrestrial digital broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: A communication content (update information) demand 21 is transmitted from a portable terminal 10 to a first link server 31 of a broadcast station 30 in recording and reproducing one-segment broadcast. An information update preparation means 313 of the first link server 31 derives a template 3173, described in a BML about the information of the program from update information database 317. An address of an information server 71 in which the update information is stored is embedded in the template, and the template is returned to the portable terminal 10. In the portable terminal 10, an access execution is performed on the information server 71 in unfolding the template 3173. The information server 71 extracts the update information from the information database 715 and returns the information to the portable terminal 10.
