<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new sensitizing dye having high conversion efficiency and high durability which is used for a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element, the highly efficient photoelectric conversion element, and a solar cell using the element. <P>SOLUTION: Since the generation of charges and characteristics of electric conduction are considered to be influenced by a hetero atom having a π electron conjugate structure and a lone electron pair, a sensitizing dye and a photoelectric conversion element having a complex aroma ring structure containing nitrogen, oxygen, or a sulfur atom are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
