<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic material which does not corrode a honeycomb structure, on which the catalytic material is deposited, and can allow soot to burn at low temperature and to provide the catalytic material-deposited honeycomb structure. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramic honeycomb structure 2 includes an outer peripheral wall 21, partition walls 22 arranged in honeycomb states inside the outer peripheral wall 21, and a plurality of cells 3 which are divided by the partition walls 22 and penetrate both end faces 23, 24 partially at the least. The catalytic material 1, which is used for burning the soot to be discharged from an internal-combustion engine and obtained by dispersing silver in layered alumina, is deposited on the partition walls 22 being the inside surfaces of the cells 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
