PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus capable of accurately detecting the amount of ink delivered into an ink receiving part in a flushing operation for recovering clogging of a recording head. SOLUTION: The fluid jetting apparatus is equipped with a recording head 6 for jetting the ink from a nozzle, a flushing controlling means 42 for performing ink jetting unrelated to printing on a recording paper 13 from the recording head 6 and performing a flushing operation for recovering jetting characteristics of the nozzle, a cap member 15 for receiving the ink jetted by the flushing operation, and a liquid face sensor 20 for detecting the liquid face of the ink jetted in the cap member 15.
