PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of improving decorativeness by light emission of a LED along with the design of a dress-up panel itself by controlling a light emitting pattern of the LED in accordance with the type of the dress-up panel. SOLUTION: Each panel 50 for dress-up of the portable terminal has a design having a light transmitting part 51 and a light shielding part 52. A light emitting part 24 of a body side of the portable terminal divides a light emitting area into 3×5=15 areas, and LEDs 1 to 15 are arranged in individual areas. A QR code with a panel ID and light emission data for performing light emission of LEDs overlapping the light emitting part 51 of each panel 50 recorded therein is printed or pasted on the each panel 50. When a user photographs the QR code of a panel of a panel ID=1 with a camera of the portable terminal, the portable terminal makes LEDs 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 of the light emitting part 24 and prevents the other LEDs from emitting light on the basis of the light emission data recorded on the QR code.
