PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an input to a storage medium of information displayed on a paper in a document to which the storage medium is added. SOLUTION: The image processor 1 for optically scanning an original is provided with a controller 110 for controlling device operations, a scanner unit 102 for optically scanning the original and generating a picked-up image, and an RFID communication circuit 104 for transmitting information between the controller 110 and an RFID 200 added to the original. The controller 110 is provided with a character arrangement information acquisition means for acquiring character arrangement information for specifying a range extracted from the space of the original, and an information write means for storing information generated on the basis of the picked-up image in the extraction range in the RFID 200 through the RFID communication circuit 104.
