PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal sheet for sheet key, capable of obtaining a unique decoration by enhancing metallic texture, and easily changing the decoration, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The metal sheet for sheet key 11 comprises a plurality of operation keys 14 constituted movably to a metallic sheet body 12 by providing through holes 13 and non-through holes in the sheet body 12. A metallic plating layer 15 is formed on the operation keys 14. A peripheral part 16a of the plating layer 16 is formed in a curved surface shape. The metal sheet for sheet key 11 can be manufactured by forming an etching masking layer 19 on the surface of the sheet body 12 except parts of the through holes 13 and the non-through holes, performing full etching to form the through holes, performing partial etching to form the non-through holes 13a, coating a part not to be subjected to plating with a plating masking layer 20, and then performing plating.
