When the light shielding portion 111 is configured like this, light W5 emitted from a first B subpixel 302 adjacent to a second R subpixel 303 is interrupted by a light shielding portion 111c, so that the light W5 is not viewed by a user in a field-of-view position L on the side of a visual directionβoutside the field-of-view range AR. Thus, it can be suppressed that a first image is viewed by the user on the side of the visual directionβ, so that it can be suppressed that an image to be displayed in one visual direction is viewed by the user in the other visual direction.
