PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor bell that widens a movement range of a hit ball and securely supports it, improves a bell hit sound, and facilitates assembling operation. SOLUTION: A rotary hammer 22 has a support portion 22a which supports the hit ball 24 while enabled to move outward with centrifugal force and tilt around a rotary shaft, a surface-side restriction portion 22b which faces a surface of the hit ball 24 to restrict a movement of the hit ball 24 in a surface direction, and a backside restriction portion 22c which projects to the backside of the support portion 22a to restrict a movement of the hit ball 24 in a backside direction. The hit ball 24 striking on a bell 28 bounces in both sides directions to tilt. Consequently, the hit ball 24 is prevented from sliding in a rotational direction and a clear bell hit sound is generated. The tilt angle of the hit ball 24 is restricted within a predetermined range by the surface-side restriction portion 22a and backside restriction portion 22c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
