PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an important object managing device capable of confirming whether an important object thrown through a return opening for returning is housed in a housing section. SOLUTION: The important object managing device is to house the important object 38 in the housing section 22 via a chute 35, of which the important object is thrown through the return opening 33 for returning. An identification information storing means 41 storing the identification information is mounted on the important object 38. The important object managing device comprises an acquisition means 45 reading out the identification information from the identification information storing means 41 of the important object 38 housed in the housing section 22, and an output means outputting the identification information read out by the acquisition means 45.
