PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing wall frame which can be provided with a bearing wall with higher strength without greatly changing the detailing of internal and external finishing in a wall thickness direction from conventional detailing, and to provide a steel framework structure using the bearing wall frame. SOLUTION: This bearing wall frame 10 is constituted by arranging a pair of vertical frame members 6 each composed of a lip channel so that a web of the lip channel can be positioned in parallel with a plane of structure, and rectangularly framing the vertical frame members 6 together with an upper chord member 3 and a lower chord member 4. The bearing wall frames 10 are erected adjacently to each other, or the bearing wall frame 10 and a conventional bearing wall frame 1 are erected adjacently to each other, and they are horizontally connected to each other by means of bolts and nuts 5, so that a steel framework can be constituted.
