PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer which is excellent in assembly workability and can suppress its production cost to be low. SOLUTION: The pointer 4 comprises: a pointer body 10 having a pointing part 8 and a base part 9; a pointer cap 11 which contains the base part 9 and has an aperture on its rear face side; balancers 12, 12A which are contained in the pointer cap 11; and a pointer seat 13 which is disposed on the aperture side in the pointer cap 11 and fixes the base part 9 and the balancers 12, 12A to the inside of the pointer cap 11. A press rib 32, whose tilt part 34 contacts the lower end side of the balancers 12, 12A and presses the balancers 12, 12A onto the circumferential wall 20 side of the pointer cap 11 when disposing the pointer seat 13 on the aperture side of the pointer cap 11, is disposed at the pointer seat 13.
