PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve quick vibration measurement by reducing computational load for calculating velocity data even in a noncontact type in which PIV technique is applied. SOLUTION: The velocity data among time series marker images in a measurement object are analyzed by a space time differential method. In the space time differential method, time series images are associated with each other with the assumption that a brightness function is invariant, and the velocity data in an X direction and a Y direction can be obtained by a simple calculation expression, thereby extremely reducing the computational load. Further, in the constitution in which the marker of a low spatial frequency component is provided to the measurement object to pick up an image or in the constitution in which a low pass filter is provided to cut a high spatial frequency component from the marker image, the effect of the high spatial frequency component is reduced, thereby preventing calculation errors.
