<p>A mobile Internet access system and a method thereof are provided to prevent quality from being deteriorated due to system failure by allocating two IP addresses to a mobile terminal in order to induce the mobile terminal to access a gateway equivalent to the second IP address when the mobile terminal fails in accessing a gateway on the basis of the first IP address. A mobile Internet access system comprises a mobile terminal(100), a PDSN(Packet Data Serving Node)(200), a first gateway(300), and a second gateway(400). The mobile terminal attempts mobile Internet access through a certain key input. The PDSN allocates two different IP addresses, the first IP address and the second IP address, to the mobile terminal. The first gateway, to which the first IP address, provides mobile Internet service to the mobile terminal which attempts mobile Internet access on the basis of the first IP address. The second gateway, to which the second IP address, provides mobile Internet service to the mobile terminal which attempts mobile Internet access on the basis of the second IP address. In case the mobile terminal fails in accessing the first gateway through the first IP address, the mobile terminal returns the first IP address to the PDSN.</p> |
