<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus to easily cope with transfer memory so as not to deteriorate image quality, without requiring additional devices, such as an auxiliary charge means, even if using an amorphous silicon photoreceptor drum 10 whose circumferential length is shorter than the length of recording paper and a charge means inferior in electrifying ability, such as a contact charge means 11 for the purpose of miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: By making developing bias voltage in a developing device 14 for developing an electrostatic latent image formed, prior to applying transfer voltage on the photoreceptor drum 10 different from developing bias voltage for developing an electrostatic latent image formed after applying the transfer voltage, the image forming apparatus copes with a change in the density of a toner image, formed prior to the application of the transfer voltage on the photoreceptor drum 10 and the density of the image formed, after the application of the transfer voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
