<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which can be handled without any trouble in terms of environment and safety even in a general home environment, attaining an image excellent in fixing properties and glossiness in regard to a recorded image on a glossy medium obtained by using an ink composition containing a pigment and attaining a high-quality and clear image having little blur, fluctuation in density, etc. in regard to plain paper, recycled paper, etc. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method wherein a coating solution is applied to the recorded image, coating is made on the image recorded by using the ink composition containing at least a coloring constituent and water, with the coating solution which contains a resin emulsion containing a resin solvent insoluble or hardly soluble in water, a humectant and water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
