<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bite type pipe joint in which a pipe can be retained by a rear end part of a ferrule so as not to impair a sealing function and a pipe retaining function caused by deformation of a tip part of the ferrule, and to provide a refrigerating device and a water heater using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A pressing surface 25 axially pressing the rear end part while pressing the rear end part of the ferrule 3 on an inner peripheral side is formed to a joint body 1 with no cam face 19 or a coupling member 2 with no cam face 19. A groove part 36 depressed radially outward from the inner peripheral side is formed to the ferrule 3. The rear end part of the ferrule 3 is pressed on the inner peripheral side and axially pressed by the pressing face 25, so that the tip part is pressed against the cam face 19 and an edge part 3b of the tip part is deformed to be bit into the pipe p and an edge part 3c of the rear end part of the inner peripheral face of the ferrule 3 is deformed to be bit into the pipe p. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
