<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp structure capable of realizing prevention of light leak from behind a lamp, cooling of a welding point of an arc tube sealing part, and improvement of welding strength of Ni lead wires for power supply, at ease and at low cost, by a simple structure and a simple manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the high-pressure mercury lamp with a reflecting mirror provided with an arc tube 1 with rare gas sealed at least together with mercury and halogen in a tube equipped with a pair of electrodes, lead wires protruded from a sealed part adhered to the reflecting mirror of the mercury lamp and external lead wires as power supply lines from outside are welded together through a metallic funnel-like member 7, a large opening of the metallic funnel-like member 7 covers an end part of the sealing part of the arc tube 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
