<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio-controlled timepiece which can be made compatible, in both the reception performance of antennas, and antimagnetic performance of motors. <P>SOLUTION: The radio controlled timepiece is equipped with an external magnetic path 11 deriving magnetic flux from a motor 10 and outside of the motor 10 for their passage, and a magnetic path controller 12 for controlling magnetic coupling of the external magnetic path 11 and the motor 10. Controlling of magnetic coupling between the external magnetic path 11 and the motor 10 using the magnetic path controller 12 makes the magnetic flux derived from the external magnetic path 11 to pass into the motor 10, which is made to function as an antenna, during the period of radio wave receiving and makes the external magnetic flux 11, to shut down to approach into the motor 10 which is for obtaining antimagnetic performance during the period of motor driving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
