<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion selective electrode which makes a stain easy to adhere to or fall from response glass and is less apt to produce asymmetric potential. <P>SOLUTION: The ion selective electrode is equipped with the response glass, wherein a titanium compound having a photocatalytic function is present on or in a glass film, responding to ions and constituted so that the magnitude of asymmetric potential is set in a range of ±30 mV, by balancing the inside and outside charges of the response glass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
