PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable capacitor device which has less restrictions regarding storage conditions and superior cooling capability. SOLUTION: The capacitor device includes capacitor modules 12 which are assembled by sandwiching a predetermined number of square capacitor cells 30 between a pair of plates 31 and 32 in the thickness direction, a cabinet 11 which houses the plurality of capacitor modules 12, while piling in the thickness direction of the square capacitor cells 30, partition wall members 22 and 23 interposed in between the capacitor modules 12 as a divider plates arranged inside the cabinet 11 at symmetric positions sandwiching a center line in right and left direction, each of wall members 15-19 constituting front and rear surfaces, the right and left surfaces and the bottom surface, and a liquid cooling structure wherein a route for flowing a cooling liquid, in the order, in the inside of them is formed in the partition wall members 22 and 23 (refer to arrow in Fig.1).
