PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a nozzle by torsional torque caused when tightening it. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection valve provided with nozzle parts 12, 20 provided with a valve seat 12a and an injection hole 12b for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine 100 and including a nozzle body 12 slidably holding a needle 20 seated on and separated from the valve seat , nozzle main bodies 11, 30 supplied with high pressure fuel, and a fastening member 14 butting the nozzle body 12 of the nozzle part at a nozzle main body side and fastening and fixing the butting surfaces 11m, 12m, and putting the nozzle body between the fastening member and the nozzle main body side and fastening axial force on the butting surfaces by screw fastening of the fastening member, coating film 60 composed of low friction material having lower friction coefficient than that of butting material is applied on a contact surface 12nt with the fastening member on an anti-butting surface side of an outer circumference surface forming the butting surface 12m of the nozzle body 12.
