SOLUTION: In the horizontal shaft pump device A constructed to have power of a motor 9 input to a pump P via a transmission 8, the motor 9 is layered and arranged on the transmission integrating a bevel gear reduction gear mechanism 8A, and a drive part assembly 19 installed on the installation base 2 is arranged by a side of the horizontal shaft pump P.
