摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a torque demand type engine adapted to fuel cut control. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including: a step (S1020) of calculating a target torque when a fuel cut condition is established (YES in S1010); a step (S1030) of detecting engine speed NE; a step (S1040) of calculating a target KL from the target torque, NE and MBT; a step (S1100) of controlling the engine by a throttle opening based on the target KL, base ignition timing, and the amount of injection based on the present KL until the target KL becomes a lower limit KL or below (NO in S1050); a step (S1170) of controlling the engine by the throttle opening based on the lower limit KL, the NE, the target ignition timing calculated from the present KL and target torque, and the amount of injection based on the present KL when the target KL reaches the lower limit KL (YES in S1050); and a step (S1180) of actually starting fuel cut when the target ignition timing reaches a delay limit (YES in S1130).
