PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground agitation device capable of efficiently agitate a sediment vertically, longitudinally, and laterally. SOLUTION: The rotation of a hydraulic motor 12 is transmitted to agitating bodies 30a, 30b by chain mechanisms 25, 26. The agitating body 30a comprises a unit agitating blade body 41a having agitating claws Ba1-Ba4 disposed diagonally from the outside to the inside; and a unit agitating blade body 41b having agitating claws Bb1-Bb4 disposed diagonally from the inside to the outside. The agitating body 30b comprises a unit agitating blade body 41c having agitating claws Bc1-Bc4 disposed diagonally from the outside to the inside; and a unit agitating blade body 41d having agitating claws Bd1-Bd4 disposed diagonally from the inside to the outside. Therefore, the sediment is moved not only in the vertical direction but also alternately moved in both the direction from the outside toward the inside and the direction from the inside toward the outside when the agitating bodies 30a, 30b are rotated.
