PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent positional slippage in a vertical direction. SOLUTION: This mounting part structure of an instrument panel 21 is constituted so that; a vehicle body mounting part 25 provided on the instrument panel 21 is mounted on a panel mounting part 31 provided on a vehicle body strengthening member 2; the vehicle body mounting part 25 has an inserting piece 27 for location extending forward and downward toward the mounting direction 26 of the instrument panel 21 on the vehicle body strengthening member 23 and a screw inserting hole 28; and the panel mounting part 31 has a locating hole 32 to insert the inserting piece 27 for location from the surface side and a screw hole 33 corresponding to the screw inserting hole 28. The panel mounting part 31 has an engaging hole 41 on a lower part of the locating hole 32, and the inserting piece 27 for location has a hook part 42 free to be engaged with the engaging hole 41 from the back surface side on its distal end.
