PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control a vehicle by making a driver feel variation of the maneuverability of a vehicle due to a change of a braking force without a sense of incongruity, in a braking force control device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: Control means cancels automatic braking with automatic brake actuation means when judgment means judges that there is no risk for contacting an obstacle, and alarm command means outputs alarm command signals when deceleration of a vehicle at the time of canceling this automatic braking is higher than preset deceleration.
