PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber sleeve which is hard to be damaged when a coil is inserted into a pay-off reel and which facilitates the insertion of the coil. SOLUTION: This sleeve is a rubber sleeve 8 which is mounted to the mandrel part of the pay-off reel for unwinding coil of a metallic belt and the rubber sleeve 8 is provided with a diameter reduced part 12 on the side of one end part.
