摘要 An LCD device, a method for manufacturing the LCD device, and an electronic apparatus are provided to enable the thickness of a second electrode layer to be smaller than that of a first electrode layer, thereby preventing an increase of electric resistance in the whole electrode layer. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes an element substrate(10), an inter-layer insulating film(4), a first electrode layer(7a), and a second electrode layer(9a). Switching elements are in the element substrate. The inter-layer insulating film is on the switching elements. The first electrode layer is on the inter-layer insulating film. The second electrode layer is in the element substrate, and flatly overlaps the first electrode through an inter-electrode insulating film(8). Each pixel(100a) includes a first area and a second area. The first electrode layer is flatly overlapped with the second electrode layer in the first area. Only the first electrode layer is in the second area. The thickness of the second electrode layer is smaller than that of the first electrode layer.
