<p>Systems, methods, and devices, are provided for searching, displaying, and organizing the display of informational objects using a mobile device. In more specific terms, embodiments relate to a modeless search architecture in which queries can be initiated simply by actuating an input device, such as typing on the keypad, or issuing a voice command. In one aspect, the invention relates to a mobile device for modelessly executing and displaying results of a contact query, search term or voice command. In another aspect, the invention relates to a method for performing a modeless search on a mobile device. Certain embodiments may be used to automatically search for related informational objects so that they can be viewed together with minimal user input and minimal user manipulation.</p> |
