ELECTROMOTIVE COMPRESSOR AND AIR CONDITIONER USING THE SAME

An electromotive compressor and an air conditioner having the same are provided to detect an error of a three-phase motor and to maximize efficiency of the air conditioner by maintaining a phase difference of three-phase alternating voltages at 120°. An electromotive compressor(10) of an air conditioner comprises a compressing unit(22), a three-phase motor(24), an inverter(28), a current sensor(30), and a control unit(34). The three-phase motor supplies power to the compressing unit. The inverter generates three-phase alternating voltage for the three-phase motor by using direct voltage. The current sensor senses correlation current generated from two three-phase voltage lines, which transfers the three-phase alternating voltage from the inverter to the motor. The control unit controls converting of the inverter on the basis of the correlation current and regulates each phase of the three-phase alternating voltages.
