<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having an effect of inhibiting neutral fat absorption, which has no problem of a smell and flavor, and moreover has no fear of a side effect. <P>SOLUTION: The composition having an effect of inhibiting neutral fat absorption includes a high polarity carotenoid as an active ingredient. The composition having the high polarity carotenoid as an active ingredient may be added to or mixed with foods, drinks, supplements, pet foods, sanitary materials, cosmetics or chemicals.
