<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize deterioration of operability by conducting a fail-safe control considering a state of shift operation failure. <P>SOLUTION: When a sleeve is fastened with an idling gear, a pressing load to the sleeve is increased in the case that the sleeve is fixed near a synchronizer after the sleeve is instructed to move to a fastening position till the sleeve moves to a predetermined position range where it can be determined that the sleeve is fastened. In the case that the sleeve is fixed near the idling gear, the sleeve is once returned to a neutral position and re-fastened with the idling gear. After increasing the pressing load to the sleeve, if the sleeve does not fasten with the idling gear, the sleeve is once returned to the neutral position and re-fastened with the idling gear. The number of re-fastening the sleeve with the idling gear is counted and use of the idling gear is inhibited according to the counted number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
